The Jefferson Cup, regarded

The Jefferson Cup, regarded as one of the top rated youth soccer tournaments in the country, features some of the nation’s top natural grass playing surfaces in the country with over 32 synthetic turf fields, including the River City Sportsplex, which is one of the nations largest turf complexes. All top brackets at the Jefferson Cup will be played on synthetic turf fields.  Combining the nation’s top level competition with the nation’s top natural grass fields and synthetic fields makes the Jefferson Cup the #1 choice for March tournament competition.

Divisions of Play: Boys

Divisions of Play:
Boys and Girls U10 (2009) through U19 (2000/01)
The Jefferson Cup will follow US Soccer Guidelines for 2019 Play
U10s (2009) will play 7v7 only
U11s (2008) will play 9v9 only

U12s (2007) will play 9v9 only
U13s and up (2004-2000/01) will play 11v11

Format of Play:
Boys Weekend

  • U10 to U15 (2009-2004) will play Championship Format on Saturday and Sunday

Girls Weekend

  • U10 to U14 (2009-2005) will play Championship Format on Saturday and Sunday

Girls Showcase Weekend

  • U15 (2004) will play Championship Format Saturday and Sunday.  (Option of Playing on Friday.)
  • U16 and older (2003-2000/01) will play Showcase Format on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Boys Showcase Weekend

  • U16 and older (2003-2000/01) will play Showcase Format on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
